EHMS TASC Program Facts
 | The primary focus of our TASC programs | |
| is homework completion. EHMS TASC students have access to a variety of resources, including the internet and a reference library. |
| After homework has been completed, | |
| students may choose from a variety of quiet activities; as ratios allow, groups of students who have finished homework may participate in recreational activities. |
| The EHMS TASC room accommodates two | |
| teachers and up to twenty children. |
| A variety of stimulating activities is provided | |
| each day to support the children’s cognitive, motor and social/emotional development. |
| In general, children in 4th-7th grades are | |
| eligible to attend EHMS TASC. Children are eligible to attend TASC until their 13th birthday. |

KOCO’s Philosophy of Child Care

day balances structured “academic” lessons with child-initiated active play and exploration. In addition, a
formal conflict resolution and character development program is embedded within the curriculum to support
the social/emotional development of our students. KOCO’s strong ties with the local public library and school
system help us to maintain a dynamic partnership with our local community. The crucial bond between
daycare and home is likewise strengthened by daily communication and myriad opportunities for families to
visit and volunteer. We are proud to be celebrating our 20th year as East Hampton’s premier child care facility!
